Bhatak raha hoon ab tak,

Ye kiski mujhe talaash hai?

Hai kaun aisa sakhsh,

Jo dur hoke bhi paas hai?

Hai koi woh pehchana,

Ya anjana sa khwab hai?

Kyun phirta hoon banjara,

Kis-se milne ki aas hai?

Kaisi meri pyaas hai ye,

Ye kiski mujhe talaash hai?

Kahaan chupi hai woh jogan,

Woh jiski mujhe talaash hai….
